Yumie Rhee

I am a Professor of Internal Medicine at Yonsei University College of Medicine. Following my graduation from Yonsei University College of Medicine, I obtained M.D. and Ph.D, regarding parathyroid hormone in animal models. Between 2008 and 2010, I worked with Dr. Teresita Bellido at the Indiana University School of Medicine, USA, where I had the opportunity to work on the osteocyte-driven bone remodeling. Currentl, I am involved in the study of rare skeletal diseases and osteoporosis, especially its secondary forms. To date, I have published over 245 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Regarding the service to academic societies, I am the Secretary General of the KSBMR, a Fellow, and an Ambassador of the ASBMR. I am the Associate Editor of JCEM Case Reports, and an Editorial board member of Endocrine-Related Cancer and Bone. I also serve as a Vice Dean of Educational Affairs of my school.
